OX2, a Swedish renewable energy company, has started operations at the 100 MW Rutki Solar Farm in Poland. This marks its first project as an Independent Power Producer.The solar farm is expected to generate around 108 GWh of electricity annually. It spans over 78 hectares and operates under a 15-year Contract for Difference secured through the Polish Energy Regulatory Office. OX2 identified Poland as one of its key global markets. The company also installed over 50 fire hydrants and conducted fire safety training for nearly 200local residents as part of the project.Earlier this year, the company announced a €1 billion solar investment in France with Octopus Energy, reflecting its broader push into European clean energy markets.
