Nexamp, a community solar provider, and Trajectory Energy Partners jointly inaugurated the 4.7 MW Blue Grama Solar community solar farm in Galesburg, Illinois. Blue Grama Solar in Galesburg, Illinois, became the first Community-Driven Community Solar (CDCS) project under the Illinois Shines program. It used over 8,000 solar panels. The project aimed to power more than 700 homes each year. It focused on involving the local community. It supported job creation and local participation. The project worked closely with Galesburg and Knox County. It supported Illinois' clean energy law. The law aims for 100% clean energy by 2050.The Blue Grama Solar project adds to Nexamp’s broader efforts, including its 75 MW solar partnership with Chipotle to expand clean energy access across the US
