Nexamp, a community solar provider, has signed an agreement with Chipotle Mexican Grill. The deal covers renewable energy bill credits from 15 community solar farms totaling 75 MW across four states. Chipotle subscribed to 20 MW, enabling project financing and saving up to $250,000 annually. The remaining 55 MW offered energy savings to around 9,000 households, non-profits, and businesses. Nexamp began construction and planned to complete all sites by 2026. E4, a Chicago-based consultancy, facilitated the transaction. Nexamp retained responsibility for building, owning, and operating the projects.
