Berlin-headquartered ibvogt GmbH has completed a €94 million (~$109.9 million) refinancing for its 175 MW solar portfolio in Poland, comprising the Zamość and Ziębice photovoltaic projects. Valued at around PLN 400 million (~$ 110.10 million), the deal was among the country’s largest renewable energy refinancings. The refinancing, arranged with mBank S.A. and Bank Millennium S.A., has improved the projects’ capital structure, reduced financing costs, and optimized revenue and operations. Advisory services were provided by Norton Rose Fulbright, PwC Polska, Wind Prospect, DLA Piper, and Marsh. The refinancing reflected the projects’ strong operational performance and long-term financial reliability within Poland’s expanding solar energy market. This refinancing followed ibvogt’s earlier 70 MW virtual power purchase agreement signed in Romania.
