GoodWe, a China-based manufacturer of solar inverters and energy storage systems, has been ranked a Tier 1 inverter supplier by BloombergNEF for Q2 2025. According to BloombergNEF, the ranking reflects GoodWe’s bankability through non-recourse debt-financed solar and storage projects worldwide. As of Q1 2025, GoodWe has achieved a global installed capacity of 100 GW and has an inverter manufacturing capacity of 35 GW per annum. Five R&D centers and four manufacturing plants are operational for the company, with more than 28% of its employees contributing to research and development. GoodWe said it allocates nearly 8% of annual revenue to innovation. At Intersolar Europe 2025, the company launched updated EcoSmart Home and EcoSmart Commercial systems featuring AI-based capabilities. Its utility-scale inverters have been deployed in solar power projects across Germany, Italy, Ireland, Greece, India, China, Malaysia, and Spain.
