GoodWe, a China-based manufacturer of solar inverters and energy storage systems headquartered in Suzhou, has received JET certification in Japan for its residential hybrid models GW5500-EI-F9.6P and GW5500-EI-F12.8P. These systems, which combine a 5.5kW EI hybrid inverter with 9.6kWh and 12.8kWh Lynx Home F batteries, have been certified as compliant with Japan’s electrical safety and environmental standards. GoodWe has stated that the EI inverter is designed for Japanese residential rooftops with varying orientations and is equipped with four MPPTs to improve solar energy capture and system performance. GoodWe has also noted that the compact, lightweight, and plug-and-play configuration is suitable for quick and flexible residential installation. When integrated with Lynx Home F batteries and a communication device, the system is capable of supporting intelligent energy management and backup power functionality. Earlier this year, GoodWe introduced its ES Uniq series, a hybrid inverter line tailored for grid-constrained homes and compact installations.
