New York-headquartered DSD Renewables has secured contract with SPURR to become the developer partner for the Renewable Energy Aggregated Procurement (REAP) Program. The program aimed to provide solar and energy storage solutions to public agencies across California using competitively sourced pricing and contracts. SPURR selected DSD through a detailed RFP process that evaluated pricing, design capabilities, and operational experience. The REAP Program had enabled the contracting of 275 MW of solar capacity and 80 MWh of storage across more than 75 public agencies. DSD planned to deliver project feasibility studies and savings analyses at no cost to help agencies assess energy savings and environmental benefits before committing. SPURR cited DSD’s design approach and project track record as key factors in its selection. Recently, DSD wons Environment + Energy Leader award for Caesars solar project.
