Columbus Energy Group, Poland based Energy Group, has completed the second tranche of its photovoltaic farm project sale to GoldenPeaks Capital Group, which specializes in the construction and operation of PV systems. As part of the transaction, a Columbus subsidiary sold 100% of shares in four special purpose vehicles (SPVs) with a total capacity of 3.48 MW to NYX. This deal was the next step in a May 2024 agreement involving the sale of 30 farm projects with a combined capacity of 28.077 MW. The first tranche, covering seven SPVs, had been completed in September 2024. Although changes in legislation delayed progress, the projects were already at the ready-to-build stage with permits and grid connection conditions in place. GoldenPeaks Capital’s Hungary-based subsidiary Spectris also commissioned a 64.56 MW solar plant, reinforcing its regional development strategy.
