UK-based renewable energy developer and utility-scale solar specialist BOOM Power has completed the sale of two key assets to Enray Power. The 71 MW Firsfield Solar Farm is located near Bardwell and was consented by West Suffolk Council in April 2024, extending to 237 acres and incorporating biodiversity features comprising habitat creation and skylark mitigation. The 42.9 MW Osgodby Solar Farm meanwhile is located between Osgodby and Cliffe Common, and was consented by Selby District Council in July 2022, for operation over a 40-year period. Earlier this year BOOM Power partnered with Albanwise to secure consent for a 49.9 MW solar facility at Tickton, expanding its nationwide development portfolio.
