Astronergy, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, received the “Overall Highest Achiever” award from the Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC) at SNEC 2025 for its ASTRO N7 module. Equipped with upgraded TOPCon 5.0 cell technology, the module showed less than 0.6% power loss in TC600 thermal cycling and only 0.5% degradation in PID testing. It also performed strongly in ultraviolet-induced degradation and mechanical stress tests, confirming long-term output stability and structural resilience. The TOPCon 5.0 upgrade enhanced energy yield, lowered the temperature coefficient, and increased resistance to environmental stress. RETC’s award was based on full completion of reliability tests and third-party random sampling to ensure performance consistency. These outcomes support ASTRO N7’s use in utility-scale and high-demand rooftop installations requiring proven reliability. In the same event, Astronergy also earned IEC 63556 certification and officially unveiled its TOPCon 5.0 cell technology.
