Array Technologies, an Albuquerque-headquartered global provider of solar tracking technology, has completed its acquisition of APA Solar. APA Solar has been a supplier of tracker-compatible engineered foundation solutions and fixed-tilt racking systems. According to Array Technologies, the acquisition has expanded its capacity to provide integrated solutions for utility-scale projects. This transaction was also said to have strengthened the portfolio and extended customer reach in North America and other regions. APA Solar was retained as a strategic business unit and has continued operating under its own brand within Array Technologies. The acquisition was expected to boost earnings and create commercial synergies to support wider deployment. Jefferies LLC was the financial advisor to Array Technologies, while Donelly Penman & Partners was the advisor to APA Solar, with legal advisors also involved. Array Technologies has stated that further details were to be filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission through Form 8-K. Prior to this acquisition, Array Technologies had announced its role as tracker supplier for ENGIE’s Emerald Green project in Indiana, underscoring its ongoing market activity.
