Recurrent Energy, operating from Canada, has secured $825 million to advance the Desert Bloom Storage and Papago Solar assets. The investment funds a 600 MWh storage plant and a 150 MW AC solar project slated for early-2026 operation. Nord/LB and MUFG have emphasized continued participation as Arizona Public Service experiences rising peak-demand pressures. Primoris Services Corporation oversaw EPC work at Desert Bloom, while Blattner Energy directed Papago Solar construction activities. Recurrent Energy has recently secured $260 million for Kentucky’s Blue Moon project.
