Bureau Veritas expands renewable services with ArcVera acquisition

France-based Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, has recently acquired US-based ArcVera Renewables, a specialist in technical services for wind, solar, and battery storage projects. According to Bureau Veritas, this acquisition aligns with its LEAP | 28 strategy to expand in North America’s renewable energy sector. The move enhances Bureau Veritas’ ability to provide comprehensive solutions for developers, landowners, and investors in renewable projects. ArcVera, headquartered in Golden, Colorado, is known for its expertise in utility-scale renewable projects. Since its inception, ArcVera has supported 9 GW of solar projects in North and South America and evaluated 93,000 MW of wind capacity. Bureau Veritas claims this acquisition will help reduce project risks and optimize performance for clients.
