The Bundesnetzagentur has disclosed the results of the ground-mounted PV and first-segment solar installation auctions held on December 1, 2023. The latter saw an unprecedented 574 bids totaling 5,485 MW, surpassing the allotted volume of 1,611 MW. Notably, individual bids exceeding 20 MW, totaling 1,986 MW, were accepted for the final time. Ultimately, 124 successful bids were secured, amounting to 1,613 MW, with prices ranging from 4.44 to 5.47 cents per kilowatt hour (ct/kWh).
