Brookfield Properties, based in New York, secured renewable energy from its 550 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project. This project supplies 40% of Brookfield’s 15.4 million square feet office portfolio in Delhi NCR. The initiative supports Brookfield’s goal of achieving 100% renewable energy across its 55 MSF India portfolio by 2027. Currently, the project serves four main campuses in Gurugram and Noida. It offsets over 20,000 metric tons of CO2 annually, equally removing 4,300 cars from the road each year. This renewable energy access eliminates additional contracting for Brookfield’s tenants. The Brookfield Global Transition Fund (BGTF I) backs projects like Bikaner, advancing Brookfield’s net-zero target for 2040.
