BrightNight has closed a $440 million equity investment from Goldman Sachs Alternatives, fully funding its five-year business plan. According to the company, this investment, combined with existing commitments from leading institutional investors, will advance its 31 GW renewable power project portfolio, including solar, energy storage, and hybrid solutions. Global Infrastructure Partners will continue supporting BrightNight with construction equity funding. BrightNight also upsized its corporate credit facility from $375 million to $400 million, providing balance sheet support for its US project portfolio. This Green Loan-aligned credit facility will deliver clean energy infrastructure nationwide and will enable BrightNight to execute its growth strategy, supported by financial and legal advisors. BofA Securities and PJT Partners have advised BrightNight on the investment.
