Axpo Polska, a subsidiary of Switzerland-based Axpo Group, has secured a significant PPA with RWE Renewables Poland, calling it one of the largest renewable energy offtake deals in Poland. This agreement covers the entire electricity output from RWE’s wind and solar plants in Poland, which have a combined installed capacity of 628 MW and generate approximately 1,500 GWh annually. Axpo, with over 20 years of experience in the Polish market, is a leading independent offtaker of green energy, specializing in delivering renewable electricity to end users. RWE says this partnership aligns with its strategy to expand its renewable energy portfolio to over 65 GW by 2030.
