Iberdrola, through its US subsidiary Avangrid, is developing the 120 MW AC Tower Solar project in Morrow County, Oregon, under a power purchase agreement with Portland General Electric (PGE). The facility is set for completion in 2026 and will become Avangrid’s sixth solar plant in the state and 17th overall energy project in Oregon. It will supply renewable energy to Portland General Electric (PGE) via the Green Future Impact program. The project will create over 200 jobs. QTS is developing a data center campus to support Meta’s regional operations, with Tower Solar providing clean energy to align with Meta’s renewable energy goals.
