Iberdrola Australia, Renwwable energy power generation firm, has completed installation of the first row of solar panels at its 377 MW (DC) Broadsound Solar Farm in Clarke Creek, Central Queensland. Known as the ‘Golden Row’, this section served as a benchmark for quality and compliance, supporting design approval and construction oversight. It enabled early detection of potential issues in design, materials, or construction before full-scale rollout. Made up of 87 panels, the Golden Row marked a key development step. The completed project is expected to feature up to 610,000 panels and supply electricity to around 140,000 homes. This follows Iberdrola Australia’s earlier installation of a 2.3 MW rooftop solar system at Adelaide Airport, highlighting its ongoing solar project rollout across Australia.
