FRV Australia, part of Jameel Energy and OMERS, has completed the 300 MW (AC) Walla Walla Solar Farm in New South Wales. The 605-hectare site is in the Riverina region which can power about 90,000 homes a year and has created around 350 construction jobs. Gransolar has served as the EPC contractor for the Walla Walla Solar Farm.FRV Australia signed a 15-year power purchase agreement with Microsoft before construction began. Walla Walla became FRV Australia’s eighth operational asset, bringing its total portfolio to 993 MW.Earlier in 2025, the company acquired the 190 MW Axedale Hybrid Solar and Battery Storage Project and continued building the 100 MW / 200 MWh Terang Battery Energy Storage System in Victoria.The commissioning of the 63 MW Canterbury solar farm by Genesis and FRV Australia further complements FRV Australia’s portfolio expansion.
