Energyear Brazil’s ‘Innovation and Sustainability’ panel on Jan. 31 featured Astronergy’s Eduardo Gama Tamburus discussing the company’s green supply chain practices. Tamburus highlighted Astronergy’s four-pillar strategy: green design and recycling, green supplier management, green manufacturing, and green data disclosure. The company aims to establish zero-carbon factories, with eight bases worldwide slated for upgrades by 2028. Astronergy’s 12 global manufacturing bases will extend the benefits of their green supply chain system to partners in China, Thailand, Turkey, and the U.S., contributing to sustainable growth. Tamburus pointed to the TÜV Rheinland-certified Astronergy Yancheng Manufacturing Base as a prime example of its green achievements.
