Astronergy, a China-based company, has introduced its ASTRO N series n-type TOPCon PV modules at the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM). According to the company, these modules are engineered specifically for tropical climates like Malaysia’s, utilizing proprietary TOPCon 4.0 cell technology. Key features include non-destructive cutting, an optimized frame, and double-layer high-transmission glass, ensuring durability and efficiency in high temperatures with a temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C. Malaysia aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2030, targeting net-zero by 2050. Astronergy views IGEM as pivotal for driving renewable energy solutions in the region.
