Arevon Energy, Inc., renewable energy developer and operator, and Meta Platforms, Inc. have inked two long-term EAPAs for the 349 MW Kelso Solar Project in Scott County, Missouri, to provide Meta’s local operations entirely with renewable energy. Arevon will own and oversee the project, generating economic benefits, including over 450 construction jobs, five permanent jobs, and revenue through land leases. The facility is expected to contribute over $34 million to local governments and nearly $28 million to area schools over its multi-decade lifespan. To be operational in Q4 2025, the Kelso Solar Project’s second phase is set for Q1 2026.
