Arctech announced a 1.5GW order for its SkyLine II single-axis solar tracking system with PowerChina for the Al Ajban solar project in the UAE. Part of the “UAE Energy Strategy 2050,” the 1.5 GW solar PV plant was designed to supply electricity to approximately 160,000 households and reduce Abu Dhabi’s annual carbon emissions by 2.4 million tons. Additionally, Arctech established a comprehensive service network in the region, including technical support, supply chain delivery, local operation capabilities, and the Jeddah Phase II manufacturing facility, set to begin operations in 2025.
