Uganda headquartered Aptech Africa LTD has designed and installed a 10.9 kW off-grid PV system mounted on the roof of the hostel at Juba College of Nursing and Midwifery in South Sudan. The system, equipped with 545 W Risen solar panels, 15 KWh BYD Lithium-Ion batteries, and a Victron Quattro inverter, provides over 100 students and staff with reliable power. This clean energy solution reduces reliance on diesel generators, lowering both fuel costs and greenhouse gas emissions. An online monitoring system allows for real-time performance tracking, ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability. The project contributes to the development of renewable energy in South Sudan, promoting climate change mitigation and cost savings
