Apricus Generation, a new holding company aiming to build a national distributed solar and battery development platform, has acquired a controlling interest in Nexus Renewables, Inc., a Toronto-based developer of solar and energy storage projects. This strategic move provides Nexus with the expertise, support, and capital needed to scale its pipeline and advance its 500+ MW project portfolio. Led by founder and CEO Keith Sandor, Nexus, combined with Apricus' resources, is set to become a leading IPP platform in the renewable energy space. Nexus Renewables, with over 500+ MW of North American solar and energy storage projects, strengthens Apricus' position in the industry.
