Apple has expanded its renewable energy efforts in India by investing in 14.4 MW of rooftop solar capacities across six industrial sites through CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions. This move supports Apple’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality across its entire value chain by 2030. The partnership with Clean Max has resulted in the installation of 14.4 MW of rooftop solar, expected to reduce approximately 207,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. Additionally, over 320 suppliers have transitioned to clean electricity, contributing to 16.5 GW of renewable energy in Apple’s supply chain and avoiding over 18.5 million tonnes of carbon emissions.
