Waaree Energies, a global energy sector, has announced the establishment of an additional 1.6 GW solar module manufacturing unit at its Brookshire, Texas facility. This expanded the company’s total US capacity to 3.2 GW. The decision had been approved by the Board. The move aligned with global shifts toward supply chain diversification and manufacturing localization. The new line was set to integrate into existing operations to support domestic supply reliability. The expansion supported Waaree’s strategy to de-risk its global footprint and localize production. The company also continued investments in digital platforms to improve solar adoption across regions. Recently, Waaree Energies also launched a 5.4 GW solar cell facility in india.
