Voltage Energy Group, a North Carolina-based provider of EBOS solutions, has secured the industry's first full-system 2kV EBOS certification from UL Solutions. This certification was awarded in December 2025 under the UL 9703 standard for 2kV PV cable applications. Voltage Energy's 2kV EBOS system has passed UL Solutions' verification testing for all requirements. It covers the company's LYNX, IBEX, IBEX PLUS, and ALEX product series comprehensively. Utility-scale PV projects are shifting from 1,500 VDC to 2kV system designs increasingly. As per the company, These certifications aim to increase energy yield while reducing capital expenditures for 2kV deployments. Recently, Voltage Energy has introduced IBEX PLUS and LYNX products for utility-scale solar systems.
