Silfab Solar, North American solar panel manufacturer, has raised concerns over proposed changes to US solar policies. The company operates solar panel and cell manufacturing facilities in Washington and South Carolina. It has invested in domestic production and uses components from four US states. Silfab Solar has also partnered with SOLARCYCLE to recycle manufacturing waste. US solar manufacturing capacity nearly doubled to 51 GW by Spring 2025. Silfab stated this growth was supported by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The proposed 2025 federal budget bill may reduce key solar tax credits. Silfabwarned this could cancel projects and cause job losses. The company is working with SEIA and SEMA to support stable solar policies. In addition to that, RETC recognizes Silfab Solar for top module performance in 2025.
