US-based Scanifly, a PV design platform, has integrated its drone-based PV design software with EcoFasten’s Design Assistant to streamline solar project workflows. The API-based connection enabled direct transfer of panel layouts and roof measurements, reducing duplicate design efforts. This helped contractors save 1–3 hours per project, avoid equipment shortages, and ensure accurate racking layouts and bills of materials. The integration used Scanifly’s 3D property models to generate precise structural inputs for EcoFasten, improving inventory accuracy and reducing the risk of errors. Both companies stated the collaboration improved productivity and consistency across the solar design process. This follows Scanifly’s earlier collaboration with Pegasus to automate rooftop PV design through streamlined software integration.
