Scanifly, a US-based PV design and field operations software firm, has integrated its platform with California’s Pegasus, a rooftop mounting systems provider. The API integration enables direct transfer of Scanifly’s inch-level accurate drone-based design data into the Pegasus Design Tool. This connection allows solar contractors to eliminate platform switching and reduce redundant tasks in rooftop system design. It also supports racking layout, flashing specification, bill of materials generation, and engineering documentation in one workflow. Benefits include saving one to three hours per project, improving inventory accuracy, and minimizing the risk of rework. The system aligns with Pegasus products such as SkipRail, Rail System, InstaTilt, and InstaFlash2 based on actual roof conditions. The feature is now live for contractor use.
