PureSky Energy, a US-based developer and operator of community solar, has reported that it had surpassed 200 MW of operational community solar capacity as of December 30 in 2025. The operational portfolio supplied electricity to households and businesses across multiple US states. Projects were located in markets including New York, Massachusetts and Illinois. The company had developed projects in partnership with landowners, local governments and utility providers. The commissioned capacity represented cumulative additions since the company’s founding. The company also maintained a pipeline of solar projects under development to increase its operational capacity.Earlier to this, PureSky Energy had brought a 4.6 MW shared solar project online in Canandaigua, adding to its growing community solar operating portfolio.
