PowerBank Corporation, a Toronto-based developer of solar and BESS projects, has sold three community solar projects totaling 16.87 MW to Solar Advocate Development for approximately $41 million. The Elmira, Jordan Road 1, and Jordan Road 2 projects in New York State have secured interconnection agreements with utilities and all necessary local permits for development. PowerBank will handle engineering, procurement, and construction under EPC agreements executed on December 19, 2025, until commercial operation. These projects qualify for NYSERDA NY-Sun Program incentives and represent the eleventh collaboration with Solar Advocate since 2018. The company has developed over 100 MW of renewable capacity and holds a pipeline exceeding one gigawatt across Canada and the US. Recently, a 1.45 MW DC rooftop solar project in Calgary has reached commercial operation under PowerBank’s development and delivery for Fiera Real Estate.
