Otovo, a US-based home and business energy services company, has announced an agreement with Freedom Power to service limited warranties for Freedom Power’s commercial PV portfolio. The portfolio includes more than 400 commercial PV systems representing approximately 70 MW of installed capacity. The agreement marks Otovo’s entry into the commercial solar and storage market. Under the agreement, Otovo will service Freedom Power’s full fleet of commercial PV customers. Otovo has also stated that it will have the opportunity to provide repair and maintenance services to the commercial PV portfolio. In addition, the company may extend repair and maintenance services to Freedom Power’s residential customers in Colorado. Freedom Power provides commercial and residential power solutions, including heating and cooling, battery backup, PV, and generators for homes in Texas and Florida and for US businesses. Otovo has stated that the transaction is subject to standard closing conditions and is expected to be accretive to net income in 2026. Recently, Otovo has entered a definitive agreement to acquire Solar Service Professionals, marking its entry into California’s residential solar and storage market.
