Nofar USA, a subsidiary of Nofar Energy, has secured over 1 GW of solar development projects across multiple US markets through acquisitions and exclusive agreements in late August. The projects, spanning PJM, SPP and ERCOT, included utility-scale and distributed generation with operations expected between 2026 and 2029. The company’s contracted storage portfolio reached 1.2 GWh, complementing its solar pipeline. Nofar Energy operated in 10 countries with 2.4 GW of renewable projects connected or under construction globally. In the United States, it expanded through acquisitions and partnerships, developing projects from early-stage to ready-to-build across different transmission organizations. Earlier, Nofar partnered with LONGi on the 282 MW Corbii Mari solar plant in Romania, strengthening its global project portfolio.
