LONGi, a China-based developer of high-efficiency photovoltaic technologies, has achieved two record results published consecutively in Nature during November 2025. The company reported a 33.4% silicon–perovskite tandem efficiency certified by NREL alongside a 29.8% flexible tandem result validated by Fraunhofer ISE. LONGi has also recorded a 27.81% HIBC efficiency using TaiRay wafers supported by advanced contact structures. The firm said these milestones strengthen progress toward next-generation lightweight and back-contact architectures.
