Invenergy, a developer, owner, and operator of clean energy solutions, has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Grant County Public Utility District. The agreement will supply 120 MW from the Quincy Solar Energy Center near Moses Lake, Washington.The project aimed to meet local energy demand and support Grant PUD’s 300 MW solar target by 2027. Construction was scheduled for late 2025, with operations planned for November 2027. The facility was expected to generate power for over 25,000 homes annually and create up to 200 construction jobs and two full-time roles. Over its lifetime, Quincy Solar was projected to contribute over $27 million through taxes, land costs, and lease payments. This would be Invenergy’s first solar project in Washington, raising its total generation capacity in the state to 860 MW.Invenergy has also partnered with Verizon on a 640 MW virtual power purchase agreement across the US.
