Estuary Power, a US-based energy developer, has completed the Escape Solar and Storage project in Nevada as the deployment has reached final completion late 2025 and is supplying 185 MW of solar energy and 400 MWh of BESS. Following project completion, 115 MW of solar energy and 400 MWh of battery capacity are being supplied to MGM Resorts International under a 25-year agreement. Earlier in June 2025, the project began supplying 70 MW of solar energy to Overton Power District No. 5, Caesars Entertainment, and Wynn Las Vegas through long-term agreements. Escape’s solar arrays were constructed by Bechtel Infrastructure and Power Corporation, with TOPCon PV modules supplied by JinkoSolar. Substation works and certain transmission upgrades were completed by Dashiell Corporation, while the battery energy storage system was supplied and installed by Tesla, Inc. Final funding closed in late 2025 through a tax equity investment by Morgan Stanley Renewables Inc. and term loan conversion by Denham Capital. The project also includes financing support from Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale.
