Estuary Power,US-basedUtility-scale energy developer, has commenced operations at it’s Escape Solar and Storage project in Lincoln County, Nevada. The project consists of 185 MW of solar PVcapacity and 400 MWh of BESS. The first phase, delivering 70 MW, began supplying electricity ahead of schedule in June 2025 to Overton Power District No. 5, Caesars Entertainment, and Wynn Las Vegas under long-term power purchase agreements. The second phase, which includes the remaining 115 MW of solar and the full battery storage component, will begin serving MGM Resorts International later this year. The project was developed, constructed, and is owned by Estuary Power, and has involved union labor, support from Tesla for battery systems, JinkoSolar for PV modules, and financial backing from Morgan Stanley and Denham Capital.
