Boviet Solar Technology Co., Ltd., a Vietnam-based PV technology manufacturer, has announced the introduction of two PV cell technology brand names, Galaxion and Altarion. The company has stated that this branding framework is intended to clearly distinguish advanced PV cell technologies from established and proven architectures within its portfolio. Galaxion represents Boviet Solar’s n-type PV cell technology and has been positioned as its most advanced design, with features aimed at reducing electrical losses and improving efficiency. Altarion represents the company’s P-type PERC PV cell technology and is described as a mature, field-proven architecture designed to deliver consistent performance. According to the announcement, Galaxion cells are intended for high-power and utility-scale applications, while Altarion cells are aligned with residential, commercial, and distributed generation systems. The company has indicated that the structured branding approach is meant to support clearer PV cell selection across module applications. Recently, Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd. has progressed interior works at its 3 GW PV cell factory in Greenville, North Carolina.
