Arevon Energy Inc., an American energy developer, owner, and operator, has launched construction on its 430 MW (DC) Kelso 1 & 2 Solar Projects in Scott County, Missouri, marking its first utility-scale renewable project in the state. The $500 million project created over 450 local jobs and boosted local economic activity. Primoris Services is handling construction. Arevon will own and operate the project long-term, with the first phase set for commercial operation by end-2025 and the second by early 2026. Kelso Solar is expected to deliver over $34 million to local governments for schools, infrastructure, and emergency services. The project also includes environmental attribute agreements with Meta. Arevon is further expanding its solar portfolio in Indiana and across the Midwest. The Kelso Solar project builds on Arevon’s momentum following the successful launch of its Vikings Solar and Storage Project in California.
