Ameresco Sunel to construct 560 MWp solar project in Greece

Ameresco Sunel Energy SA announced its role in constructing Lightsource bp’s 560 MWp Enipeas solar project in Greece. Ameresco Sunel, a joint venture between Ameresco, Inc. and Sunel Group, will manage engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). The Enipeas project, co-funded by the EU’s NextGenerationEU fund, spans Larissa and Fthiotida regions, featuring nearly 970,000 PV modules. Expected to be completed within 18 – 24 months, it will generate 0.90 TWh annually, powering 225,000 homes and reducing CO2 emissions by 379 kt per year.
