Ameresco Sunel Energy SA announced its role in constructing Lightsource bp’s 560MWp Enipeas solar project in Greece. Ameresco Sunel, a joint venture between Ameresco, Inc. and Sunel Group, will manage engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). The Enipeas project, co-funded by the EU's NextGenerationEU fund, spans Larissa and Fthiotida regions, featuring nearly 970,000 PV modules. Expected to be completed within 18-24 months, it will generate 0.90TWh annually, powering 225,000 homes and reducing CO2 emissions by 379 kt per year.
