Ameresco Sunel to construct 560 MWp solar project in Greece

Ameresco Sunel Energy SA announced its role in constructing Lightsource bp’s 560 MWp Enipeas solar project in Greece. Ameresco Sunel, a joint venture between Ameresco, Inc. and Sunel Group, will manage engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). The Enipeas project, co-funded by the EU’s NextGenerationEU fund, spans Larissa and Fthiotida regions, featuring nearly 970,000 PV modules. Expected to be completed within 18 24 months, it will generate 0.90 TWh annually, powering 225,000 homes and reducing CO2 emissions by 379 kt per year.
