Bulgaria has achieved a 1 GW milestone in new solar installations in 2023. A key project in Stroevo Village, supported by Bulgaria-based Allianz Bank Bulgaria, featured the deployment of HITOUCH 6 series modules from China-based Hanersun. These modules, installed in June 2023, boast a 21.6% efficiency with 210 mm silicon wafers. Additionally, Hanersun plans to ship five HNESS230-L energy storage units from China, totaling 1.15 MWh, to enhance power stability through peak-shaving and energy balancing. The HNESS230-L series integrates lithium-ion batteries, a power conversion system, and management tools for efficient operation, with 24/7 monitoring, as per Hanersun's claims.
