Alight, a Swedish solar power producer, has finalized a €110 million senior debt financing deal with Dutch lender Rabobank. The funding will support the development of approximately 220 MW of small to medium-sized solar parks across Sweden, with individual capacities of up to 50 MW. The first three projects will be located in Halland (4 MW), Södermanland (6 MW), and Uppland (15 MW). This financing is claimed to be one of the first of its kind in the Nordic region. Alight aims to complete the rest of the projects over the next two years, strengthening its presence in the Swedish solar market.
