China based AIKO, a leader in N-type back contact (BC) technology, demonstrated a high energy yield in a recent outdoor test at Pebblex Solar Lab in Madrid, Spain. According to the company (again company), its ABC modules achieved a 14.7% ihigher energy yield per square meter compared to other well-known brands, demonstrating superior efficiency, power density, and lower degradation rates. The test, conducted from October 30 to November 5, 2023, basically week, highlighted the modules’ optimal performance even in high-temperature conditions, with a 0.3% performance gain over TOPCon modules when the temperature increased by 10. AIKO’s modules also demonstrated a 6-10% higher power output and promise long-lasting performance with a guarantee above 88.75% after 30 years.
