Aggreko’s Energy Transition Solutions (ETS) division has acquired a 13 MW behind-the-meter solar project in Texas, aiming to support a local energy producer’s decarbonization efforts. ETS will construct, own, and operate the project, delivering cost savings and greenhouse gas emissions reductions under a fixed-price power purchase agreement. This addition expands Aggreko ETS’ Texas portfolio to over 600 MW. The move capitalizes on Texas’ favorable conditions for commercial and industrial projects. The acquisition underscores Aggreko ETS’ industry influence, execution reliability, and established presence in the ERCOT market.
