Adani Solar and Kochi-based Almiya Group have joined forces to boost solar energy infrastructure in Kerala, unveiling plans for expansion. Partnering with Almiya Group, Adani Solar aims to establish a stronger foothold in Kerala by installing a 225 MW solar power plant in Purapura within a year. Additionally, the company has inaugurated a warehouse in Coimbatore to expedite panel delivery to both Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This partnership with Almiya Group is expected to enhance Adani Solar’s market penetration in Kerala, leveraging Almiya’s existing collaboration with the company on projects such as the 45 MW plant in Tamil Nadu. Adani Group is also exploring solar energy utilization at the Vizhinjam International Sea Port, a project undertaken by Adani Ports.
