ACCIONA awarded 12-year CfD in Croatia

ACCIONA Energía has secured a 12-year Contract for Difference (CfD) from the Croatian energy market operator HROTE for the Promina photovoltaic (PV) plant, a 189 MWp project in Sibenik-Knin county. Scheduled for commissioning in 2027, Promina will become Croatia’s largest solar farm, featuring over 300,000 PV modules to generate 320 GWh annually, sufficient for 69,000 households. The project includes a new 400 kV substation for grid connection and falls under ACCIONA’s Social Impact Management program, reinvesting part of its revenue into local community initiatives. Along with ongoing wind projects, Promina will position ACCIONA as a leading renewable energy producer in Croatia.
