US-based Eaton has partnered with US-based Lunar Energy to simplify and enhance home energy storage and solar systems. According to Eaton, its new AbleEdge smart breakers will integrate with the Lunar System to streamline deployment, manage energy loads, reduce costs, and extend battery life. The joint solution is expected to be available by early 2025, with Eaton serving as Lunar Energy’s preferred supplier for load management. Homeowners and installers can use Lunar’s app to control both companies’ technologies, simplifying energy management. This collaboration is part of Eaton’s “Home as a Grid” strategy, which focuses on creating flexible, efficient home energy systems. Eaton claims its products meet rigorous cybersecurity and safety standards, ensuring reliable energy management.
